Services
What services does TOLTEM offer?
Eight, covering the full lifecycle: web development, mobile application development, cloud solutions and DevOps, UI/UX design, engineering as a service, technology consulting, maintenance and support, and training. We work with organisations across Nigeria and West Africa.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
Yes, and it is usually the harder half of the project. We have connected new applications to legacy government databases, enterprise systems, payment gateways, accounting software and CRMs. On the Ondo State portal that meant building an API gateway layer so a modern interface could talk to systems that predate it.
Do you provide ongoing support and maintenance?
Yes. Support packages cover round-the-clock monitoring, security updates, performance optimisation, backups and technical support, and run from three to twenty-four months depending on what the system needs. This is the part most agencies skip, and it is why our systems hold 99.9% uptime.
Pricing & Process
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope. A business website is typically 2–4 weeks. A web application is 4–12 weeks. A mobile app is 6–16 weeks. Enterprise platforms and government portals run considerably longer — the Ondo State portal took twelve months. You get a written timeline during the consultation phase, and a demo every two weeks so you can see where it actually is.
How much does a project cost?
Cost depends on features, platforms and integrations — a single-platform MVP and a bank-grade app with biometrics and offline sync are very different pieces of work sharing one word. We give you a detailed written quote after a free consultation, with no obligation. We would rather understand what you actually need before quoting a number.
How do I book a consultation?
Book directly through the button at the top of any page, use the contact form, message us on WhatsApp, call +234 704 604 9624, or email info@toltemtech.com.ng. The first conversation is free and we reply within one business day.
What is your process for a new project?
Four phases: discovery and strategy, planning and design, development and testing, then launch and support. You get a written scope before any code is written, and a working demo every two weeks after that. You also get a staging environment you can log into whenever you want to see where things stand.
Experience & Expertise
What technologies do you work with?
React, Next.js and Vue on the frontend. Node.js, Python and PHP on the backend. React Native and Flutter for mobile. AWS, Azure and Google Cloud for infrastructure, with Kubernetes and Terraform. PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL for data. We pick per project rather than defaulting to whatever we used last time.
What is your experience with Nigerian organisations?
Since 2016 we have delivered 150+ projects for 50+ organisations here — state government, local government, microfinance banks, hospital groups, universities, marketplaces and SMEs. That matters because the constraints are specific: intermittent connectivity, USSD as a first-class channel, CBN and NDPR requirements, and users with a wide range of digital confidence.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. We work with companies in the UK, Europe and North America who want senior engineering capacity without the hiring overhead. Akure is on WAT (GMT+1), which gives a full working-day overlap with the UK and Europe and a morning overlap with the US East Coast. All work is delivered in English, on your tools and your process.
Who will actually work on my project?
Named engineers you can meet before you commit. Our team page lists everyone, their experience, and the projects they have led. You will have a direct line to the engineering manager on your project throughout — not an account manager relaying messages.
Security & Compliance
How do you handle security and data protection?
We build to PCI DSS for payment systems, NDPR and GDPR for data protection, ISO 27001 practices for information security, and the CBN cybersecurity framework for financial applications. Healthcare work is built to HL7 FHIR and HIPAA-compliant implementation standards. Every project includes a security audit and penetration testing before launch. Where your procurement process requires a formal certification, ask us early and we will tell you plainly what we do and do not hold.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do. On fixed-scope projects the intellectual property transfers to you on final payment — source code, documentation and infrastructure configuration. Your data is yours at all times and is never used for anything other than delivering your project.
What happens if we want to move to another provider?
We hand over cleanly: documented architecture, credentials, deployment runbooks, and a transition period alongside your new team. We have inherited enough badly-handed-over systems to know exactly how much this matters.
